| Hey Everyone! Well hopefully this time tomorrow I will be on my way to Harding, and although I am quite nervous I would have to say the overall feeling is excitement. It should be a good semester or at least I am trying to think positive about it. Well here is my new profile picture I just got glasses and thought I'd model 'em for y'all. And I just got a retainer a couple of days ago so in other words I am definately ready for nerd day all I need is a pocket protector, oh well this world needs nerds too and I guess I was already one b4 all this stuff added to my face anyways. | YEAH! I would just like to say and maybe even brag a lil that I am done with my scrapbook for good ol' DKN's class! Man does it feel good, but is it worth an A? B? or C? Well I hope so, but only time will tell the main thing is that it is done! Now I just have to start packing, this time next week we will be on our second day of school, that's weird...anyways good luck to my fellow scrapebookers, ya'll can do it, if I can finish something then I know ya'll can. Well here I am for those of you who like to read up while you are at work...cough cough Katie and Kali...cough cough.
So does anyone else just get that weird kinda sick feeling when you think about going back to school. I mean I am excited don't get me wrong, I think this semester is going to be good and I am actually quite excited about my classes but when I think about all that I have to do before I go that is what makes me feel a lil yucky inside. I think I just get nervous. But then there is this other side that is almost really relieved to finally be going back. I mean I must say I had an awesome summer hanging out with bunches of people and I had a lotta good times and laughs but I am sorta ready to get back on that Harding campus. I guess the one big thing about being on campus is just having that big sense of independence again. Home is great and hey I can stay out a whole lot later here than at school but there is still that lil thing where I don't feel as independent. But anyways it is inevitable and it will come so no need in really thinking about it except for the probably worst part about going back PACKING! I hate packing with a passion! It is a evil thing. But once again it must be done....
Oh I would just like to say that I am soooo excited that a movie called RENT is coming out! I'm sure several of you have seen it on broadway but I have not so it looks like the movie is as close as I am going to get...but anyways...it has great music in it not to mention a wonderful story! | Well I have finally decided to do my official 2nd entry of xanga. I now have a strange sense of obligation to this whole xanga thing. And the other funny thing is that I really don't mind. this has become something I actually want to do. I have not been able to update in the past couple of days for the simple reason of my internet was down and on top of that I have been working like a dog. So anyways.....Have any of you ever wondered why some people are soooo cranky poos??? Well I work at a sno cone stand as many of you know and you would be so surprised as to how many people are cranky when they come to get a sno cone.
Here are so reasons as to why you should never be cranky to the sno cone lady...
1. For cryin' out loud you're gettin a sno cone that alone should be enough to make you happy.
2. They are just so bright and colorful and color should make you happy.
3. It should make you feel like a kid again...young and alive.
4. They are so cheap, or at least ours are, you should be happy you are getting a low-cal, fat-free (unless you get cream) treat that not only tastes good but will cool you off.
5. If I am your sno cone lady you should just never be cranky b/c I am always real sure to smile really big and to always thank you.
Okay that is just my lil' list for today. I just hate it when people get cranky about a sno cone. The kids who come up there are my best costumers b/c they are the most polite. So all of you out there who go get sno cones be sure to be nice to your sno cone lady. | | |
| Xanga
Well this is it! I am officially apart of the Xanga clique. It was only after consulting my good friends Kali and Logan that I came to the conclusion that must submit to the ways of today and get with the program and do a Xanga. I already like to do journaling so hey this is something I should enjoy, right?
Well for todays topic I would just like to say that I thought scrapbooking was something you were suppose to enjoy. Wrong! I loathe it! Screw memories I don't need them! Who likes to go back and look at pictures anyways! Ok ok I am just kidding but man this is rough! But I will use my perseverance skills and come through this, I will also think and sing "the joy of the lord will be my strength" and that should get me through this oh so trying time!
